Quick Share and Store Update

I just wanted to pop in a share a card I whipped up with the February set from Stamps of Life, umbrella4u:

I was channeling purple today :)  It's a 3 x 3 card, great for a gift bag or flower bouquet for the sickie.  I used some more stamps from the same set for the inside:

The reason I did such a quick card on my day off is because I'm feverishly working on getting my Etsy store updated!  I added a new shop banner (which matches my blog banner) and I'm getting things listed!! If only my computer could upload the photos quicker... I'd probably be done (if only!).  So if you're in the need for a card, one you may have seen in a previous post that caught your eye maybe, have a look at my store. (you can also click on the tab under the blog banner)  Thanks in advance for looking :)

More added to Etsy

I've been pretty busy this weekend working on cards for a local craft show that I'm debating about being a participating vendor.  I took a few of these cards and added them to my etsy shop, so have a look here to see the new additions.  I added a few birthday cards and some Christmas cards (it's never to early to start  on those!)  Here's a little preview -

I used Lawn Fawn's Cozy Christmas set and created a little fireplace sscene.  Each of the images was colored with copics then pieced onto the card front.  The inside is stamped with "have a warm and cozy christmas."

Happy Birthday to... You?

I know a couple of people with July birthdays, but none that would appreciate a handmade card.  I didn't let that stop me from making a birthday card for the iCopic Weekly Challenge #38.  I used the sketch over at CPS:

And came up with this birthday card -

I used a 4-1/4 square (4-1/4 x 8-1/2 paper) of Early Espresso from Stampin' Up! for the card base.  I used Spellbinder's Lacey Circles to cut the largest circle from Tim Holtz's resist kraft card stock.  I threaded some Lilac twine from the Twinery through the holes then added some white metal accents with my iRock where the twine was behind the paper.

I used the third smallest Classic Scalloped Circle by Spellbinders to cut a piece of Basic Grey's Kioshi paper.  Using another piece from that same line, I cut a small square and round the corners.  I put it on a diagonal because I liked the diamond shape behind the image more than the square.

Finally I found a Cupcakeabella from Stamping Bella that I colored right after I got some of my Copics - I had stamped a bunch of images and just went to town coloring them all!  I fussy cut around the image and added it to the center on some dimensionals.

And to not leave out the inside of the card, I added a little of the coordinating paper and a couple of sentiments from Amy R:

And one bit of exciting news... I decided to start selling some of my creations on Etsy.  So if you want to purchase any cards from me, you can visit my etsy shop here.  Right now, it's pretty sparse, as I'm just starting out and still deciding what I want to sell (it's tough to part with some of them!), but here's a little preview of something I plan on putting up -

Happy birthday to all you July babies!!
