And came up with this birthday card -
I used a 4-1/4 square (4-1/4 x 8-1/2 paper) of Early Espresso from Stampin' Up! for the card base. I used Spellbinder's Lacey Circles to cut the largest circle from Tim Holtz's resist kraft card stock. I threaded some Lilac twine from the Twinery through the holes then added some white metal accents with my iRock where the twine was behind the paper.
I used the third smallest Classic Scalloped Circle by Spellbinders to cut a piece of Basic Grey's Kioshi paper. Using another piece from that same line, I cut a small square and round the corners. I put it on a diagonal because I liked the diamond shape behind the image more than the square.
Finally I found a Cupcakeabella from Stamping Bella that I colored right after I got some of my Copics - I had stamped a bunch of images and just went to town coloring them all! I fussy cut around the image and added it to the center on some dimensionals.
And to not leave out the inside of the card, I added a little of the coordinating paper and a couple of sentiments from Amy R:
And one bit of exciting news... I decided to start selling some of my creations on Etsy. So if you want to purchase any cards from me, you can visit my etsy shop here. Right now, it's pretty sparse, as I'm just starting out and still deciding what I want to sell (it's tough to part with some of them!), but here's a little preview of something I plan on putting up -
