Coloring with my new Copics

While I was at the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Valley Forge last week, I bought a few more Copics and today, I finally got around to playing with them!  I was inspired by the latest Color Throwdown Challenge:

I love the color combination and it just so happens that some of my new Copics fall in those color ranges, so I HAD to play along.  Here's the card I came up with:

After coloring the image with my Copics, I cut her out, glittered her ipod, and added white enamel accents to her belt and shoes.

While the glitter and enamel accents dried, I stamped the main card base and the white squares with a background stamp from Stampin' Up! (it's a retired stamp, but I love the texture it adds).  I used the Tonic distress tool to distress the edges of all of the squares and the main card base.  Then inked all of the edges.

Finally, I put all of the squares on dimensional adhesive, then put Dancing Mae over the squares.  I finished it off with a hand written Gracias in some white gel ink on a scrap of Crumb Cake then punched it out with the word label punch and added it to the card with two white brads.

This card will be playing along in the following challenges:
3. Wee Memories #63 - Dare to Color
4. Some Odd Girl Thank You Challenge
