Hey There...

I'm not sure why, but I've been itching to make an easel card.  And since I wanted to use my Paper Smooches Chubby Chums set I thought I'd use one of their color schemes and enter it the:

I decided to try the color combo in the third column:
white, sunshine, baby pink, grey

Once I had my colors decided on, I figured I would use CPS sketch #227 for the layout:

The card is 4" by 4".  For the front, I used some Stampin' Up! Designer Patterned Paper.  I cut the Spellbinders Labels Five die using some scraps of pink and gray that I had laying around.

The "hey there" is from Paper Smooches Sampler Sentiment.  I drew the speech bubble using a Memento Tuxedo Black Marker.  The cats are colored in using some of my Copics - Y38, YR16, W3, R32, and 100.  I put a few dabs of Glossy Accents on their eyes.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the "Let's Play" sentiment from Chubby Chums and repeated the paw print from the same set up the side of the card.  I drew in the two little mice.  Then made a little ball of yarn out of some Blossom twine from the Twinery.

So when is all is said and done, I got my easel card while getting play with twine and Chubby Chums... what a great Friday!!
