Cereal Box turned Gift Box

I found this cereal that I love at Target a few months back.

I've gone through about 10 boxes since then and I haven't had the heart to throw any of them out.  They're made from a pretty sturdy cardboard and have a little plastic lid, so I thought I could repurpose it for something.  Then I thought, it would make a great gift box for Christmas/Birthday gifts.  I pulled out some supplies and turned the box into this lovely:

I wrapped the box in a piece of patterned paper.  The 12x12 piece wasn't quite big enough, but I used the ribbon and scrap to fill in the last piece.  I stamped SOG's Tree Trimming Kaylee on some copic quality paper and color in her hair and skin.  I paper pieced the ornament she's holding and her clothes and accessories.  I added a little jingle bell to her headband.  I popped the front panel up on dimensionals over the ribbon.

To finish it all off, I stamped three of the gift images from Warm Wishes Tia in a stack and paper pieced each of them to creat a little to/from tag.

I'm loving how it turned out and can't wait to work on the others I've been hoarding :-D

And since I used my SOG stamps, I'm throwing it in for the Get Odd Guest Challenge  Wish me luck!
