Christmas in a Hurricane

Well, the impending arrival of hurricane Sandy is showing with the incredible rain we're getting right now.  Since I'm not braving the storm to go out today, I thought I'd use this opportunity to make another Christmas card (especially before I lose electricity!!).  And I chose to use CAS-ual Fridays' challenge as my inspiration this week:


I kept it super simple.  Using the kraft colored card stock, I scored a couple of lines about an inch apart and then embossed the outsides in my Cuttlebug.  Stamped the sentiment, a couple of snowflakes, and added some gems.  Pretty simple!

    Wish I was home to do some crafting but stuck here in Florida and waiting for a plane to be able to fly into Philly. Love the Christmas card and glad you are safe from that horrible storm "Sandy".
